1(one) year training is imparted on eight subjects
To enhance the human resources potentials of sectional assistants, who are considered as frontline staffs
Till date more than 300 trainees from Water Resources and Irrigation Department has completed the courses in 9(nine) batches
In August, 2014, a Data Center has been set up at AWRMI which will be a repository for existing data relevant to Brahmaputra and Barak Rivers and its tributaries.
The basic objective of the data centre is to digitize the hydro meteorological data like HFL, LWL, discharge, cross sectional area, velocity, precipitation, suspended sediment load etc.
